Ready, Set, Ho: World Santa Claus Congress Kicks Off in Denmark

I guess even Santa needs to train in the off-season. From USA Today:

Santas from all over the world lugged their overweight waistlines to this year’s 54th World Santa Claus Congress, throwing sacks of presents and firing canon balls in a new physical fitness contest.

Not really sure I understand the canon ball firing part. I guess in Denmark Santa is a bit more hardcore than our version of St. Nick here in the U.S.
